FOUNDER & TRAINER
Mark Maynard
Mark Maynard is the founder of ForgeLine Canine LLC, a professional canine training and consulting company based in Stockton, California. His career has been built around leadership, discipline, and developing high-performing canine teams.
Mark served nine years in the United States Army as an Infantryman and Military Police Sergeant, where he developed a strong foundation in leadership, accountability, and operational planning. Following his military service, he continued his career in security and canine operations, working with some of California's largest organizations.
Throughout his career, Mark has specialized in canine program management, compliance, training coordination, and working-dog operations. He has supervised canine teams, managed large compliance initiatives, coordinated veterinary and medical record systems, and helped improve operational standards for working-dog programs.
In addition to his operational experience, Mark holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He combines practical field experience with business strategy to build systems that improve efficiency, accountability, and long-term program success.
ForgeLine Canine was created to provide structured, professional dog training for both family companions and working dogs. The company's philosophy is built on consistency, clear communication, ethical training methods, and developing confident dogs alongside knowledgeable handlers.
Beyond training, Mark is also leading the development of enterprise software designed specifically for canine organizations. His long-term vision is to create an integrated platform that combines medical records, compliance tracking, training documentation, reporting, and operational management into one modern system that can support organizations of all sizes.
Whether working with a first-time dog owner or consulting on a large canine program, Mark's goal remains the same: build reliable partnerships between dogs and their handlers through professional training, structured systems, and continuous improvement.
